Now What? Principles and Practices for Recently Returned Missionaries.

7:00 pm Tuesday Evenings

Join Us!

Welcome home! Thank you for serving the Lord as a missionary! The transition back to regular life can be challenging. There's lot of things to think about: school, work, finances, social life, dating, etc. Perhaps most important is continuing to build your faith in Jesus Christ and deepen your discipleship after your mission. This class is meant to help. It provides opportunities to get to know other returned missionaries and discuss topics like: creating a vision for the future, setting goals, managing time, temple worship, making important descision with inspiration, dealing with stress, and many others. Come join with us every Thursday at 7 pm in room 102 at the Jordan Institute.

"'If ye love me, keep my commandments,' Jesus said. So we have neighbors to bless, children to protect, the poor to lift up, and the truth to defend. We have wrongs to make right, truths to share, and good to do. In short, we have a life of devoted discipleship to give in demonstrating our love of the Lord. We can't quit and we can't go back. After an encounter with the living Son of the living God, nothing is ever again to be as it was before. . . . "The call is to come back, to stay true, to love God, and to lend a hand. I include in that call to fixed faithfulness every returned missionary who ever stood in a baptismal font and with arm to the square said, 'Having been commissioned of Jesus Christ.' That commission was to have changed your convert forever, but it was surely supposed to have changed you forever as well."
